The Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club was initially setup in 1993 to form a solid organizational base for the powerboat racing in Abu Dhabi. Since that time the ADIMSC has and Gulf region as a whole.

Now the Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club supports a wide range of marine sports, including powerboats, jet skis, sailing, kayaking, wakeboarding and waterskiing.

The ADIMSC supports these sports by acting as a founding member of the UAE Marine Sports Federation and as Authority to the union International Motonautique. The ADIMSC also hosts a variety of local, national, GCC and international championships for all marine sports. These events include

• UAE Sailing Championship

The ADIMSC is always looking to support new marine sport . The club helps by providing facilities and organizing events for many sports looking to develop in the UAE. The cb also pride itself in supporting and developing athletes in all marine disciplines to compete on an international level.

In addition to marine sports activities the ADIMSC prides itself to be able to host and support any type of events on the Abu Dhabi Breakwater and Corniche. The ADIMSC has been involved in hosting the Red Bull Air Race, Air Shows,Moto-Cross, Car Rally's and School summer holiday activities.
